Been watching the fires on tv most of the day. Too smoky to go outside here. We've kept the doors and windows closed and more or less hibernated. I heard that Canyon RV Park was evacuated this afternoon, and from what we saw on TV the fire either went through it or around it.
Here's hoping and praying for the well being of the families involved in all of the fires burning in So. Cal. right now.
I just called Canyon Rv and the lady told me they are still there, and the fire did not go through the park. She said there is a lot going on around them, but they will be back to taking reservations tomorrow.

Thank you all for a wonderful weekend. We met a lot of new friends, and we look forward to seeing all of you again next year. Ron says it was nice to meet another squid, even if he doesn't vacuum very well. Hope you all had a safe trip home. Thanks again.

By the way....we have an abundance of home grown eggs and we'd be happy to bring some along for anyone who wants some. These are free range chickens who lay out on the ground, so the shells aren't always spotless, but if you are ok with that, just let us know and we'll bring along a couple of extra dozen. Ok..back to baking....baking....
We would love some eggs. My husband has no problem with dark bottomed cookies. I'm sure he will be more than happy to help eat them. See you all on Friday.:)

We didn't get satellite in our spot, but I really didn't notice because I was hardly in the motorhome, we were so busy. The only time I missed it was to fall asleep to the tv at night, and we managed to find a local channel. Anyone who really missed their satellite, like my husband, must have some sort of tv obsession. He needed it so bad, he moved the rig on Sunday. Thanks again for the great time.

Thank you all for a great time. Just wanted to let those of you who saw me in pain this morning, that I did NOT separate my shoulder when I was out running. X-rays were negative. Supposedly it is a pulled tendon. Thank you all for the concern. We will be there next year.

Sarah (it's so hard for me to write that):
I wasn't planning on bringing the laptop, but I am now. I bet the pictures are beautiful. We can look at them sometime Saturday, since I have my concert to go to Friday night. I'm glad I looked on here, or I wouldn't have known they locked the gate at 8pm, and we would have had fun trying to get back in after the concert. See you all Friday afternoon.

Did we get enough people to do the rope course. Just need to make sure I have all the money I need for the weekend. We will be there Friday afternoon. Look forward to seeing you all again, but I promise to stay away from the margarita bar this year. I remember very little of Saturday last year.
